A new official partnership was recently announced for Litecoin. Aliant Payments Systems which is a provider of merchant services and payment processing based in the US, recently confirmed about becoming the first official payments partner of TC. Aliant Payments Systems was reported to officially complete the Litecoin Foundation’s registration process becoming the processor of Litecoin payments.

Aliant is an experienced player in the payments industry operating in the field for more than 15 years now. This important partnership will allow Litecoin to provide a convenient option for merchants seeking a vetted and approved payments processor. The main advantage of Aliant which will also make this platform a highly recommended one within potential users is the opportunity to offer cryptocurrency capabilities in ecommerce, retail and mobile environments.

CEO of Aliant, Eric Brown expressed his highly positive expectations from this important partnership with one of the top cryptocurrencies on the market. He also mentioned that their partnership will bring “a trusted, stable solution to innovative merchants who are interested in adopting cryptocurrency payments”.

In addition, Litecoin has also been actively promoting the new cooperation with Aliant from their side as well. A couple of days ago they announced about Aliant to be attending the first-ever Litecoin Summit by the Foundation, which will take place this September in San Francisco.

As we all remember, recently the crypto community was quite disappointed to learn about the bad news on LitePay being cancelled which affected the value of the cryptocurrency. This loud announcement about the new partnership however was the first good news after the recent cancellation bringing a great deal of hope for the future of this cryptocurrencies. So far the influence of the new important partnership has not been highly measurable however it has undoubtedly been some desperately needed good news for the Litecoin Foundation.
